- I use the ProGrab 24RT+ (PAL version) and in my experience it produces
- some superb results. The image manipulation tools are particularly
- handy.
-
- There are only two minor problems with it.
- 1. The software is a *little* buggy. Although it doesn't crash, it
- quite often gets confused over preference settings, etc. If you
- change the image size you need to check that all parts of the
- program have accepted them. Quite often when I change the settings
- on the image size requester, the animation requester still thinks
- it's using the old settings. Not a problem - you just need to be
- careful.
- 2. The animation to disk feature (which is touted as one of the
- advantages of getting the PCMCIA interface) *doesn't* work.
- It's not bugged, it just fails to work - period!!!
- I suspect this is a software problem - so until further
- notice I would recommend you treat the animation part of the
- software as beta-test.
-
- Hope this helps,
